Ranking: Best Ads in America
Alright so I talked about how there are too many ads on TV in the States but I won’t lie man, some of them are really funny and catchy. So I won’t go into too much detail about which one is indeed the best but I will give you three of my favourites.
Arby's.
Man I got this say I regret the fact I have never had a meal at Arby’s before (aren’t any anywhere near me). These ads are mix of simple and funny. Unlike all the other fast food places Arby's is one of the few that don’t even bother showing you a person in the ad all you have are their food which will most likely have meat in it which is fitting because of their catchphrase, ARBY'S WE HAVE THE MEATS! The best catchphrase delivered by the voice of someone who sounds like the love child James Earl Jones and Donda West. An epic ad.
Liberty
Liberty, Liberty, Liiiberttyyy, Liiibberryyttyy! I love that jingle and their ads are top rate, whether it be Doug and Emu or the other nonsensical ads they tend to display, the best of which has to be the one with the college kids having a pool party I laughed more than a grown man should have when I saw it for the first time, plus that tone is just so catchy you could playing in your mind all day along with the Arby’s beauty.
Progressive
Yeah these ads are the best, you have that team of progressive insurance people who for some reason are always at your home or around your property lead by Flo a woman who for one reason or the other has managed to make Jon Hamm infatuated with her. There is also Dr Rick who tries his utmost best to make sure young home owners do not turn into their parents which he just can’t seem to do. The ads are full of foolishness and hijinks, the people look both inept at their jobs and pleasant to be around at the same time. Americans may force ads down your throat but man at least they are sometimes entertaining.
