Does Riot Hate African Gamers?
Full disclosure I wrote an entire article and forgot to save and it proper hurts me so now I am forced to do this again, what a thrilling introduction.
Rainbow Six Siege, Call of Duty, Battlefield V and of course the main competitor CSGO, these are all games that have gifted Africa with there own servers and of course its not just FPS giants that have the African servers as EA has given FIFA fans a chance to play good ping and you got rocket league as well, but what about the company with two of the hottest properties in online PVP gaming for some reason does not have any servers to help with the growing gamer influence throughout the motherland.
Now don’t get me wrong its not like they actually haven’t given it much thought or consideration, it tried inspecting the scene in South Africa with a team to help determine if Africa was worthy of having servers all the way back in 2016 and somehow they said we weren’t which doesn’t make sense man it’s dumb and sure I don’t know exactly how many people do play League of Legends in Africa, but I can tell you that a but load of Africans play Valorant, I see people with 150 plus ping all the time and I have played in indie tournies for Southern Africa and there are some damn good players on this gosh awful ping I played against immortals IMMORTALS!!! These men reached Immortal on bloody ping higher than Blizzard when they decided to make us pay to play the second open Beta for Overwatch 2.
Also what on Earth is Riot smoking? If a small indie company like Valve can give us African servers, then why the bloody hell can’t they? Granted at the time of writing this article I have never played CSGO but I plan to cause at least for the most part they have their act together, so screw riot games man, just yesterday I was playing on my EU account with my friends on the worst bloody server in the game Bahrain (and that’s saying something given the Paris server exists) and their ping shot up to 400 in a comp, a bloody comp man, this was a server that used to give us 120 ping at best until Riot decided that was too good for us and then the best we do now is bloody 180 on a really good day, screw Riot games. There was a glitch which didn’t allow people with ping of above 150 to plant the spike and we would be stuck in games trying to explain to our random teammates how we weren’t bloody throwing and this glitch wasn’t fixed or patched for like 2/3 patches, it was there for a while, and worse still it wasn’t even bloody noted in the patch notes, we just discovered we could plant now, Screw Riot Games!
Your entire games is copy and past of CS with a fusion dance of Overwatch for the stupid super powers and you can’t copy CS is African servers man like what is that? I know the Overwatch is also guilty of this but its owned by Blizzard and they don’t care about anyone really (Just kidding please don’t sue me) it’s all an awful shambles and it upsets me to my core. Also at some point when Val was still young, they bloody released a video and announcement talking about how they neglected a region of gamers and are giving them their own servers and had the nerve, the guile, the utter arrogance to say the servers is for bloody Vietnam! Are the Americans still guilty about what they did their or something? They have enough servers around them and even if they didn’t we should definitely consider an entire flipping continent before we do one flipping country nothing against Vietnam of course this is all on Riot and what a fitting way to end the rant as I finally conclude by saying, SCREW RIOT GAMES!
