Premier League Week 1 Review

Well football is back and it is back with great stories and what is sure to be an interesting season, there was business as usual from the defending champions ho easily saw away West Ham 2-0 with new star signing Haaland Haaland! got his campain off to a fast start wit ha good double and he was even assisted by the Ginger Zidane, I wonder who saw that coming, also it seems Pep just doesn’t care about or respect your teams any more cause he just full on played his Fullbacks in the midfield, and both Cancello and Walker looked much better than than the options for the other half of Manchester (Don’t worry we will get to that later). Liverpool were actually held 2-2 by relegation favourite Fulham despite the fact that Mo Salah scored on the opening day yet again and new signing with the man bun fluked himself a goal and an assist (some stats which will be used by some stooges) and elsewhere Spurs put Southampton away with 4-1, Arsenal got off to a winning start against Crystal Palace 2-0 and Chelsea have beaten Everton by a single goal to nil making me rethink both team’s seasons cause they are not looking great but defensively, Chelsea will be a force.

Around the League, prime throwers Leicester City managed to blow a 2-0 lead at home to Brentford to draw 2-2 and you would wonder why all their good players want to leave, Newcastle, who seemed to have forgotten that they are rich during the transfer window, got a solid 2-0 home win, Steven Gerrard seems to want to compete with Frank Lampard yet again but this time for most overrated manager of their generation as Aston Villa lost 2-0 to Bournemouth because why not, and Leeds beat Wolves 2-1 perhaps proving that Ted Lasso may not be in over his head, but it was match one of 38 so lets not get carried away, however talking about getting carried away.

Manchester United, disappointments, embarrassments, uninspiring, unmotivated, worthless, good for nothing pieces of trash managed to get he ETH era off to the wrose possible start by losing to a team which has never won at Old Trafford they lost 2-1 to Brighton and Hove Albion! Why? Why? It was my birthday for the love of Ronaldinho, how could you bring my day down so much?! THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU OVER PAID CLOWNS!

Okay now that the rant is out of the way, lets talk real, I am not changing my prediction, despite the fact we still have McFred in the midfield and Scott Mctominay remains the worst football player I have ever seen wear the Red of Manchester United and good gosh I have watched Djemba-Djemba and Bebe play for that team, despite the fact they are trying to sign Marko Arnautovic and Adrian freaking Rabiot, despite the fact FDJ is avoiding us like the freaking plague, despite the fact that Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal look galaxies ahead of us, despite all that I am not changing my prediction and I won’t go into exaggeration mode because lest we forget last year we beat Leeds 5-1 on opening day Pogba had 4 assists and we were saying we were title contenders and while arsenal went 0 in 3, it will take TIME it will and I believe if CR& stays and plays at his level, that is enough, they get FDJ then that will be enough, we have the tools and the manager has the philosophy, its not all doom and gloom yet for Manchester United, but it needs to get much much better.
